If this works then the windows mobile program Diarist available at http://kevdaly.co.nz/Software/Blogging/Diarist.aspx actually connected to my blog, unlike the other stuff I tried.

I can't help but wonder wether or not it was really necessary to use a taser to restrain an 11-year-old girl.  Based on the reports of her behavior prior to the taser event, she truly needed to be restrained, and probably brought up on charges of attempted murder for trying to push a fellow student into on-coming traffic.  She needs to be in a juvenile detention center and perhaps be forced to undergo extensive therapy.  However, I just can't imagine an adult security officer being unable to restrain the child without resorting to a taser, which could easily have killed the girl.

Hehehehe... you gotta read this.  The teen who got searched said that the cops swiped his butt like a credit card.  Heheheh... He was charged with possession of, crack-cocaine.  I wonder if in this case the word "crack" is significant of where it was found?  ROTFLMAO

image I was listening to a local talk radio show this morning.  One of the guests said that Sean Hannity had called for the assassination of Barak Obama on his web site if he got elected and that the post containing this had been taken down.  Well, I did a quick Google Search and found several left-wing extremist web sites with info about the post, by one of Hannity's viewers/listeners, that is at the root of the guests statement.  First of all, it wasn't Hannity who said this.  Second, the writer of the post didn't call for anything. ... I want to know what this New Zealander was drinking, so I can make certain to avoid it like the plague.  According to the article on FoxNews.com the dude called the police and reported that he was being raped by a wombat in his home.  Then, a little later he called back and reported that he was OK except for now speaking "Australian."  He plead guilty and was sentenced to 75 hours of community service for "using a phone for a fictitious purpose."

The prosecutor in the case said that alcohol was involved.  I think that's just crazy.  Since turning 21, the current legal drinking age in most, if not all of the U.S. I've partied and gotten drunk a few times.  I never hallucinated, much less went on a trip about le ... Read More »

I plan on operating in the CQ WPX contest this weekend as a single op, low power entrant.  I generally don't even come close to being competitive so, unless my efforts are more successful than usual, I'll be submitting my log as a checklog just to allow those who I contact to get credit for the QSO.   It'll be interesting to see if I can manage to get the NU1AW contact in my log.

I don't see how my late father did it.  I just took a spin on the old riding lawnmower, burning off the old, stale gas, and reconnoitering the lawn to see where all we need to concentrate our efforts at picking up objects that might  damage the blades.  I must say, that thing is dangerous.  If you have it in high gear and your foot slips off the brake/clutch pedal it'll pop a wheelie, dump you off on your head and then shut itself off due to a safety switch under the seat that stops it from running amok.
