Why is it that the very people who are hollering the loudest about energy independence, namely liberal democrats and environmentalists, are the very people standing in the way of US energy independence?  Right now, the democrats in congress are bewailing the high gas prices, and they are inordinately high.  However, those very same people talk about fixing the problem by punishing the producers.  The only way to decrease gas prices will be to increase production.  However, imposing things like windfall profit taxes and the like to punish the producers does little to encourage increased production.

image Today, one day after placing the order, my brand spanking new Pride Legend XL scooter arrived. It's really cool. It has a head light, turn signals, front and rear, as well as a horn that actually sounds like a real horn instead of a joy buzzer. All it needs is a backup alarm, a cane holder, and a cup holder.
