I can’t help but wonder what this kid’s home life is like. Don’t his parents teach him the difference between right and wrong? As much as I hate cats, I consider them to be the most damnable of all God’s creatures, I hate those who abuse and are cruel to animals even more. Although I personally wouldn’t think twice about killing a cat, I don’t want them to suffer. If I’m gunna kill a cat, it’ll be quick. I wouldn’t do something like dousing a kitten with lighter fluid and setting it on fire. That’s just plain mean. I think incidents like this are a symptom of decades of liberal lunacy in schools, where a child’s “self esteem” is more important than teaching them how to function in society. Now, those kids who were not taught right and wrong in school or at home are having kids of their own and things are getting worse. Read More »

This is precisely why I’m against legalization of doctor assisted suicide, or euthanasia for humans. Basically, in Oregon, if you’ve got a condition that is expensive to treat, the insurance companies can refuse to cover it an offer doctor assisted suicide, which would undoubtedly cost less than some treatments for long-term, terminal, or chronic conditions. FOXNews.com - Oregon Offers Terminal Patients Doctor-Assisted Suicide Instead of Medical Care - America's Future -- Bryan Johns K4GDW < ...

Visual Studio Magazine Online | News: Microsoft Joins Apache Software Foundation It’ll be interesting to see how the FOSS community reacts to this. Will they be overly cynical and decry this as an invasion by the eeeeevil corporate giant MSFT? Or will they embrace this as a step in the right direction? It remains to be seen. -- Bryan Johns K4GDW "The Key, the whole Key, and nothing but the Key... so help me Codd" Read The Patriot It's Right -- It's Free http://PatriotPost.US/subscribe/ Veritas vos Liberabit ...

Microsoft's Opinionated Misfit Geek - ReactOS - What's the point ? The point of ReactOS is to allow someone who only knows Windows to easily make the switch to Linux. Looking like Windows greatly reduces the “I don’t like it because it looks different” factor. -- K4GDW ...

FOXNews.com - Widow Wants San Francisco Sanctuary Law Changed After Illegal Charged With Murder This is a perfect example why the so-called “sanctuary cities” should be banned. If it were up to me, cities that have such policies prohibiting their agencies from contacting the feds about immigration issues would forfeit all federal, state and country dollars. Also, if for some reason they called for help from an upstream agency, such as a city police dept calling for help from the country sheriff or the state police or the feds, they’d be on their own. I’d not send any kind of federal or state assistance to these sanctuary cities. -- K4GDW ...

FOXNews.com - World Court Demands U.S. Halt Executions of Mexicans in Texas I say, “To HELL with the world court.” I hold all such international bodies in utter contempt. They have no authority or right to interfere in the internal business of the US or any other sovereign nation. These beaners in Texas on death row are there because they came into the US (illegally?) and committed a crime for which the death penalty is applicable. As the saying goes, “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.” -- K4GDW ...

I have one question, was the rule that all employees to have cleanly shaven faces in place before the plaintiff began working? It makes a big difference. If the rule was already in place when the plaintiff started, then he did so in full knowledge that his beard would be a problem. If the rule was put in place after he started, then there may be grounds for a lawsuit if things actually went down the way the plaintiff says they did. FOXNews.com - Illinois Corrections Officer Says He Lost Job Over Traditional Muslim Beard -- K4GDW ...
